Creekstone Designs Brings Your Unique Vision to Life
Hello, and thanks for wanting to know more about Creekstone Designs. I founded Creekstone Designs in Minneapolis, Minnesota where I had been doing double duty as a remodeler and business consultant. As much as I loved the world of consulting, my passion was in redesigning homes for others, so ultimately I choose to leave consulting behind and dedicate my heart and time to designing and creating spaces for clients.
I grew up in Los Angeles, but half way through high school my family moved to South Dakota. After a little culture shock I moved on to attend St. John’s University in Minnesota focusing on Economics and Art, which lead to a career with Andersen Consulting, now Accenture. My 20’s were spent living a wonderfully intense life in big business. Specializing in Process development & Change Management which inspired me, but my heart and time was always veering back to designing and building.
After a bicycle trip across the country and taking a sabbatical to teach skiing, I discovered and fell in love with the Pacific Northwest and ultimately decided to move my life and the business to Portland, Oregon.
Today I live in a wonderful place, working with a team of incredibly hard working and talented people, to deliver great design and craftsmanship.
Outside of Creekstone Designs my time is spent as a member of the Technical Team of Professional Ski Instructors of America NW (http://www.psia-nw.org/who-we-are/technical-team-members/) , sitting on the PSIA-NW Board of Directors, working part time as a ski instructor at Mt. Hood Meadows and chasing the occasional trout with a fly rod.
